When a baby girl is born she has got nearly 2 million follicles in her ovum. When she get older in her adolescent ages she has got about 400 000.During her reproductive period every women lost nearly a thousand eggs for every menstrual cycle. It’s clear that women’s ovarian reserve is getting lost by years and it’s totally finished in menopausal period.

WHAT IS OVARIAN PRP TREATMENT
PRP means ‘Platelet rich plasma’.As everyone knows in humans bodies there are head cells, which has the ability to return into very different cells even into eggs in the ovum. There are head cells in ovum too. Finally , the platelets in PRP have got growth factors and given to the both ovum these platelets lead to transformation of head cells to ovum cells ,so into eggs in ovum.

HOW IS MADE THE OVARIAN PRP TREATMENT
1.Preparation of PRP
The blood sample is taken from the patient and put in anticoagulant tube. Then the blood sample is being centrifuged. In that device the blood cells are separated.By this method the red cells ,white cells, platelets and serum are separated. This operation is made for 15 min. and blood becomes a fluid of 3 layers. The layers are :the upper one by platelets and white cells, the medium one by again white cells and the lower layer containing the red cells. The upper and medium layers are taken to a sterile tube and are centrifuged again. The upper 2\3 is taken away. The other 1\3 is mixed and that is the part which is used for PRP treatment.
2.Injection of PRP
The second and last operation is injection of PRP into ovum. This is made under anesthesia by giving the PRP fraction trans vaginal to the patient.

WHO CAN BE TREATED BY PRP
1. The patients who have got low ovarian reserve and low AMH
2. The patients who have early ovulation failure
3. The patients who have got infertility problems after age of 35 years old.

WHAT IS THE APPROPRIATE TIME FOR PRP TREATMENT
It’s obvious that the appropriate time for injection of PRP is immediately after menstrual period or in early follicle period of the menstrual cycle. To see if the eggs in the ovum are formed by the injection ,the patient must be checked by blood tests for FSH, LH, E2 and AMH in the second day of menstrual bleeding.
